We have a lawn in our yard. We water it and mow it regularly. Even during the drought we took care of our yard and we did’t let it dry out. I have been living in Souther California long enough to know the droughts don’t last forever. I didnt want to lose my lawn and have to pay the expence to replace it next year.
With all that mowing we have alot of grass clippings. The best place we have found to dispose of it is in the chicken run. They love it. It keeps them busy for hours and adds to our composting chicken coop.
What useful things do you do with your lawn clippings? Its a shame to have all that beautiful green go to waste.
