I always like to mix traditional foods with something new at our Christmas dinner. Everyone knows I am always trying newer healthier recipes. With all the dietary issues we have in this house it’s a challenge to prepare yummy food.
We make most of the Christmas Celebration on Christmas Eve. My family comes over for a delicious feast to celebrate the birth of our Savior. What a privilege for me to have my family over to my house for the this important occasion.
I like to go all out, and this year it is on a Saturday which will make things much easier. The Country Man will be home for the day so he is planning on smoking some roast beef. We will be using this recipe…..

For dessert I plan on having the girls ( my daughter and daughter in law) bring dessert, but we always need snacks for munching so I plan to make this Chex mix recipe……..
That is the basic menu for my Christlmas Eve Dinner. We are so looking forward to it. We also have other traditions we do that evening which I will post about later.
